Who I Am
I am an IB educator and curriculum leader with over a decade of international experience across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Currently teaching DP Biology at Lycée Multilingue Ombrosa in Lyon, France, I have worked in international schools from Mumbai to Paris, Karlskrona to Helsingborg — each context deepening my conviction that great teaching is built on conceptual depth, genuine inquiry, and trusting relationships with students.
I am a certified Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction (CBCI) trainer, having trained under Dr. Lynn Erickson and Dr. Lois Lanning — a framework that has fundamentally shaped how I design learning experiences. Rather than covering content, I design for understanding: asking students to transfer thinking across contexts, not merely recall facts for an exam.
Beyond the classroom, I serve the IB community as a Workshop Leader, School Visitor for Authorization and Evaluation, and Examiner Team Leader for Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS). I have led over 50 professional development workshops for educators across more than 40 countries — work I find as rewarding as teaching itself.
The name Think · Act · Reflect captures the rhythm I believe sits at the heart of genuine inquiry — the iterative cycle of wondering, doing, and making sense. It is how I approach teaching, curriculum design, and my own professional learning.
